在日益壯大的社會組織大軍中，地方社會組織所占比重越來越大。它們雖然活動領域沒有全國性社會組織那樣廣泛，社會影響力也相對較弱，但因密切聯繫基層，能夠根據地方實際開展活動等，對地方乃至整個經濟社會發展都具有重要作用。本書基於社會治理的視角，通過1篇總報告和10篇子報告，著重分析了雲南省社會組織發展的現狀以及面臨的挑戰和要求，並結合其他國家或國內其他省份的成功經驗，提出促進雲南省社會組織發展的對策建議。
