En la seva fugida travessa l'Àfrica i navega per tres Oceans enrolat com mecànic naval en tres petrolers, la casualitat i l'astúcia fan que a Sud Americà faci fortuna en poc temps. Continua la seva fugida fins als EE.UU. on es topa amb un huracà que li deixa anar un llamp de record. Arreplegat per un família de la Cherokee Nation d'Oklahoma coneix una tal Blue Moon nativa americana, que li canvia la vida per sempre en ser el seu esperit coincident Allà és don comte de lo petit i rodo que és el nostre món.
