La finalidad principal de este trabajo es situar algunas de las cuestiones que más preocupan al profesorado universitario sobre el trabajo docente en el aula. El primer capítulo trata del método magistral y de diferentes propuestas para mejorar la docencia; el segundo, plantea el trabajo con grupos reducidos en la Universidad; el tercero, presenta el tema de las tutorías; el cuarto, el de las prácticas (tanto las que se realizan dentro de la institución universitaria como fuera de ella); en el quinto, se abordan algunos aspectos relativos a la dimensión comunicativa y de gestión en el aula; y finalmente el sexto, trata del porqué de cómo enseñar en la Universidad, una reflexión teórica y global en relación al diseño curricular, a los métodos didácticos y a las diferentes estrategias de aprendizaje.
