Una serie de universitarios e investigadores, reunidos por ATTAC, aportan herramientas de reflexión y acción que muestran que "otro mundo es posible". El libro presenta una visión crítica sobre los mecanismos de la especulación y los paraísos fiscales, la viabilidad de la Tasa-Tobin, las consecuencias de la deuda y los fondos de pensiones, el papel de la Unión Europea y los organismos internacionales como el Banco Mundial y la OMC, como agentes de la mundialización y, más en general, el desenmascaramiento del proyecto de dominación globalizador. La construcción de un mundo más justo pasa, según los autores, por la recuperación de la política y la movilización de la sociedad civil a escala mundial.
