Description
Marruecos protagoniza desde finales del siglo XX un esfuerzo sin parangón por normalizar la escritura y el sistema gramatical de su lengua vernácula, el árabe marroquí. Y ello es así merced a una serie de propuestas concretas para su estandarización, mediante la recopilación y la creación de textos en árabe marroquí, o bien a través de la traducción desde otros idiomas. Profesores y profesionales de la educación han venido a reforzar esta nueva realidad al defender la necesidad de enseñar –al menos en la Educación Primaria– en la lengua materna de los marroquíes: el árabe marroquí, o el amazige. Además, el uso del árabe marroquí ha crecido notablemente en los últimos cinco años en espacios como el televisivo (producción y doblaje), el discurso político-social, en internet y en el lenguaje publicitario, entre otros. En España hace tiempo que la comunidad marroquí (alrededor de 850.000 ciudadanos) nos plantea retos a nivel social, intercultural y lingüístico. Junto al interés por la integración del alumnado de origen marroquí en el contexto escolar español, o por atender con eficacia las demandas de los servicios de traducción e interpretación en los contextos institucionales, existe una demanda de la población española para aprender el árabe de Marruecos con fines laborales, empresariales, académicos, u otros. Esta obra colectiva recoge un mosaico de aportaciones académicas en torno a la escolarización de los niños marroquíes en España, la política lingüística de Marruecos, la interculturalidad, la etnografía de la comunicación, o la traducción literaria y la edición en árabe marroquí.
