Annalisa Villa, giornalista professionista, nata a Milano nel 1976, inizia la sua carriera giornalistica a Class Editori presso il canale CNBC. Si trasferisce a Londra nel 2006 per lavorare a Bloomberg Television, occupandosi sempre di finanza ed economia. Dal 2010 scrive di materie prime per la casa editrice americana McGraw-Hill. Da Londra, dove vive con il marito e il figlio, ha anche collaborato come free lance con testate italiane come «Panorama» e «Icon» su temi riguardanti proprio l’Inghilterra e la sua Corona.
