De ontsnapping van de brullende muis

Description

Jullie maken er een puinhoop van, een bende! roept vader Jan. Wat is een bende, oma? vraagt de kleine Nina. Een boevenclub, antwoordt oma. Gaaf. Dan zijn wij de bende van De Korenwolf, zegt Joost. De Korenwolf is het hotel van Ninas ouders, haar zus Eefie, broer Joost en puber Pepijn. Soms is het fijn om in een hotel te wonen. Maar soms is het niet zo leuk, want je ouders hebben vaak geen tijd voor je. Dan moet je jezelf maar zien te vermaken. En daar is de bende érg goed in. Nina heeft een muis gekregen voor haar verjaardag. Vader Jan wilde absoluut geen beesten in het hotel, maar de kinderen én oma hebben hem weten over te halen. Dan ontsnapt de muis, net als er een groep dames van de Algemene Bond van Huisvrouwen in het café zit. Als Joost daarna ook nog alle stoppen laat doorslaan omdat hij een alarm op de muizenkooi bouwt, wordt het vader Jan allemaal te veel. Oma stelt voor dat vader Jan en moeder Els er eens lekker een weekendje tussenuit gaan, dan zullen zij en de kinderen op het hotel passen. Het is toch altijd rustig in deze tijd van het jaar. Maar dat valt tegen... omt de oorlog heel dichtbij…
