2017年版《世界粮食安全和营养状况》（原名《世界粮食不安全状况》）对以上问题及其 他主要发现做了详细分析。今年的报告首次由更多机构联手编写，除联合国粮食及农业组织、 国际农业发展基金和世界粮食计划署外，又新增联合国儿童基金会和世界卫生组织。

本报告还标志着在《2030年可持续发展议程》和“联合国营养问题十年”背景下为粮食 安全和营养监测开启了新纪元。为评估在消除饥饿方面取得的进展，本报告同时采用食物不 足发生率这一传统办法以及以粮食不安全经历分级为基础的重度粮食不安全这一新指标。报 告对营养不良的各种形式开展了进一步分析，包括儿童发育迟缓、消瘦和超重以及成人肥胖、 母乳喂养和妇女贫血趋势及现状。报告的主题部分清晰阐述了世界上不断升高的冲突发生率 如何影响粮食安全和营养，同时还探讨了如何通过改善粮食安全和营养以及增强农村生计的 抵御能力，帮助各国预防冲突，维持和平。
