破曉將至: 中國電影研究（1977-1979）

1977－1979年是中國電影重要的轉捩點，民眾《於無聲處》清楚聽到《生活的顫音》，用指尖輕觸《春雨瀟瀟》裡的《櫻》，看到《苦惱人的笑》。這《並非一個人的故事》而已，亦是徬徨時期的人們，埋藏於《青春》裡的《淚痕》。 掙脫「樣板戲」的重重枷鎖，再現起心動念的創作初衷。以破曉的光芒照亮黑夜，讓「恢復時期」回歸歷史本位。普遍來說，電影為大眾提供了現實解釋與精神慰藉，是非常重要的大眾娛樂。在中國的文革時期，電影卻成為歌詠讚頌政府官員的工具，也就是俗稱的「樣板戲」。對於勇敢活躍於檯面上的中國電影創作家們而言，如何描述剛剛逝去的歷史，把握此刻上演的故事已不僅是藝術問題，而是關係到大時代下小人物們的個體命運。通過電影敘事上的諸多悖論與徵候，最終抵達話語與現實不相契合的社會真相。本書探討中國1977－1979年期間約一百多部電影。此時期的電影嘗試跳脫「樣板戲」的固定套路，在明確的目的和模糊的歷史之間小心地閃轉挪移，對歷史進行選擇性記憶和重述，並在審判「他者」和自我神化的文字遊戲中放逐恐懼、救贖自我。作者用清晰的思緒配以精湛的文筆，從創作格局、語法表徵與意識型態出發，完整分析這些電影創作的時代背景與表達意涵。
