Este es el Cuaderno n.1 del Banco de Estudios de Caso en Responsabilidad Social (RS) que la Universidad Externado de Colombia se ha propuesto construir en el marco de sus programas de posgrado en responsabilidad social y sostenibilidad. Presenta los resultados de cinco experiencias emprendidas por organizaciones adheridas a la Red Colombiana del Pacto Global, las cuales fueron documentadas y sistematizadas durante el año 2015 por estudiantes de la especialización en Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, bajo la tutoría de docentes-investigadores, con base en la Metodología de estudios de caso en responsabilidad social elaborada por esta Universidad. Con este Cuaderno se pretende contribuir a la construcción de conocimiento a partir de la documentación y sistematización de programas y proyectos que en el marco de sus estrategias de RS han sido diseñados y puestos en marcha por organizaciones de diferente naturaleza que desarrollan sus actividades en territorio colombiano. La finalidad es aportar a la comprensión sobre las modalidades de inversión y sus alcances estratégicos, tanto para la organización que motiva la experiencia como para los grupos de interés a los que se dirige, y, en últimas, el aporte que estas inversiones hacen a la sostenibilidad de la sociedad en su conjunto.
