En este segundo volumen de las Obras reunidas el lector encontrará una muestra de ese contrapunteo, un conjunto de ensayos escritos no por un comentarista sino por un participante, alguien que ha vivido la filosofía hermenéutica desde adentro, desarrollando una propuesta original y con especial vigencia en el contexto filosófico latinoamericano. Los ensayos reunidos cubren un amplio espectro, desde la hermenéutica de la facticidad del joven Heidegger hasta la influencia del neoplatonismo en la filosofía de Gadamer, pasando por las múltiples transformaciones que se dan entre la hermenéutica del uno y del otro, un tránsito que nos lleva progresivamente al enriquecimiento del concepto de comprensión a la luz de la experiencia del diálogo y la escucha. Así pues, en medio de una conversación a tres bandas surge una reflexión filosófica que se toma en serio la radical alteridad de la experiencia humana, el reto práctico y teórico de vérnoslas con otras formas de concebir y sentir la vida.
