皇權、禮儀與經典詮釋: 中國古代政治史研究(增訂版)

Description

二十一世紀以來，如何從中國歷史自身的脈絡探討中國歷史上的諸現象，成為新的中國史研究的使命。本書立基於此構想，希望能有新立場與視野，以經典詮釋（hermeneutics）為方法，從禮儀的角度，探究中國古代（約十世紀以前）皇帝制度與皇權的方方面面。對郊祀禮、喪服禮、「國家」制度、君臣關係等史學課題的探討，允為尖端研究。

本書收錄十四篇論文，分作三大主題：一是禮制的演變與儒教國家成立；二是「國家」與君臣制度；三是東亞世界中的皇帝制度。第十四篇論文為附錄，討論「皇帝制度是否為專制」。此外，作者另撰導讀一篇，題為「再論儒教國家」。本書的研究角度與方法，不但可去除我們對於中國古代政治的若干刻板印象，亦可帶領讀者探索過去政治史研究較忽略的一面。
