禮儀是一面鏡子，照出你的修養，幫助你與人和睦相處。家和萬事興，家庭需要禮儀；以誠相待，朋友間需要禮儀；事業有成，同事間需要禮儀。總之，人際交往，離不開禮儀。

我們學好禮儀對於弘揚中國禮儀文化，汲取世界各國文明禮儀的成果，加強精神文明建設，有著重要的意義。很長一段時間以來，我們總是把禮儀看成「繁瑣哲學」，只擺樣子。其實，我們古代教育歷來是將禮儀放在第一位的。

講禮儀，實際上是對主體價值觀、主體意識的強化；講禮儀，是維繫社會和諧的潤滑劑，是建設和諧社會的基礎；講禮儀，是社會文明的外在體現，反映了人與人之間的和諧度。

但做任何事情都不要有功利之心，否則事與願違。講求禮儀，並不是靠一朝一夕之功，而是要有一個循序漸進的過程。本書也只是從一些實事的角度出發，對那些我們生活中經常用到的禮儀知識進行了介紹，相信這些禮儀知識必將對你的社會交往起到一個良好的效果。
