本書收集了2010年佛教青年學者會議上發表的精品論文。這些論文的作者大部分是青年學者，但是他們對人間佛教研究的深度和廣度已經超過前人，具開拓性和前瞻性，見證了當代中國佛教研究的高水平。他們從不同方面、多個角度分析探討人間佛教在當代社會的發展。他們的研究成果不但開創了人間佛教研究新領域，同時亦為當代人間佛教的發展開闢了一條新道路。
