Excerpt: "Rover and Claire are Sephaes. Sephaes are animal hybrids that were created to help people with their careers. They can come in many different shapes and forms depending on the partner and the career job. Everyone working personnel gets one after a year of training in the specific job they want to pursue. When you get a Sephae, you form a bond with them rather quickly, and learn how to telepathically communicate with them. Only you and your Sephae can do this, but Sephaes can talk to other Sephaes. And though, you could talk to them out loud, most of the time they do not or will not listen to you. Claire is a mix between a blue parrot and a snowy owl. She has a sleek, light blue body, a parrot's beak, and snowy white wings. Her wings are fluffier than a normal snowy owls', but I love that part of her. Rover is a cross between a red panda and a raccoon. I know most people would say that those animals are similar, but it gives Rover a rounder look. He is still the size of a raccoon though, just fatter. I got Rover a couple of years ago when I was thirteen, after I became Commander of Communications. I was the youngest person on World 37N-29, or 7N for short, to have a Sephae."
